Contest Background and Illusions.

The jury voted for the DeSupport 2020 Contest Proposal which describing about 100 nominated Free TON Supporters and contest time frame in a pdf file.

.

But during on-chain deployment contest deadline mistakenly reflected the time 24 February, 23:59 UTC to 24 February,00:00 UTC.
Seriously deadline of any event can’t be just starting minute of the last date.

There was a contest and if you disappear for couple months, then want to prolong contest with no help in that case, why don’t you help in chats (other help) and only after contribute a reword? By the way, I don’t see any opportunity to nominate people twice

  1. Do you propose to cancel the results of the previous contest?
  2. If not, what to do with them?
2.1. Do 16 participants have to re-upload their submissions? Or do you suggest starting a new DeSupport?
  3. What to do with the budget? Spend another 20k?

Date of the contest is on the gov.freeton.org, not on the forum, so first of all you need to look there

Read whole contest more carefully.
There were some illusions regarding deadline and participants oftenly use last date for submission.

This is Free TON Supporters contest of whole 2020 year so can’t be finished with illusion of deadline.

:point_right:One more point everyone should note that in Free TON contests history we had never seen a contest ended earlier than contest proposed time although time might be extended.

Why you are forgetting TON Surf Tester Stage-2

There is updated reward mechanism, rewards will be distributed based on ratings.
Jury have to assess every supporters ratings.
There is no fixed reward anyway.
Jury can reject any submission or rate that as their contribution, so will be a fair program at all.

:mag:You are so confident about your opinion about the contest proposal, then kindly share a single link of any contest ended before proposed deadline.

:+1:Even you can download the description pdf file of the contest on gov.freeton.org and find out the reality about the contest.

first, you should only check contest dates in gov.freeton.org.

second, i don’t think all the people you mentioned here didn’t participate because of just one last day, otherwise they all would be here complaining.

third, even with one day slip, you and all others had plenty of time to participate. if you always wait for last day, last hour, last minute to submit your submission, it’s not the contest fault.

last, most of the people you mention here was mentioned by single person in the original thread:

he just wrote 78 usernames, including himself, do all those people even know they are nominated? are they even doing anything to be able to participate in the contest? i think this single post is the main illusion of the contest, not the wrong deadline in the description. because without that post we would have the situation when most people of all mentioned have participated in the contest.

  • I had downloaded the contest description pdf file from gov.freeton.org for offline reviewing, you can also download and check it for better understanding.

  • Why nominated members aren’t participating isn’t your business.

  • I’m Free TON community member and I’ve right to submit my submission on last day even in last hour of the contest.

Sorry, my bad. 87000 will be distributed among the 12 contest winners.

According to the system proposed by you

Add a couple of new works and the budget will exceed the previous one by 2+ times.
Don’t think it’s a good idea

Yeahhhhh not happening )))) There was a DeSupport contest that just ran. If you missed it, sorry. This is not one of those things that is going to just keep repeating every week, month, whatever. In fact a lot of people are completely against the whole concept. This last one took a lot of lobbying to get pushed through. This is not how it works. Using this premise people will start thinking they can just propose a DeSupport contest every other day. Plus I see a lot of submissions by people who a) were already in the last DeSupport contest, b) haven’t done any or very little support of any kind. Putting comments in the forum isn’t support. Don’t get your hopes up on this one. Should have been more attentive. Maybe there will be another toward the end of the year. :man_shrugging:

Your calculations are good to watch but reality is something unknown so how you can decide a budget before jurors rating❓

Budget

:balance_scale:This contest budget is totally based on Free TON Supporters Contribution and will be analysed by jurors declaring supporters rating.

Free TON is totally community-controlled cum regulated organization having aim of decentralisation.

:balance_scale:Supporters are the base of Free TON and the contest based on annual contribution must be audited by S&A Jurors.

Yup, I know. But voting only happens when all things are considered and weighed for value. It is obvious this one is just an attempt to create a continuous contest in the absence of having participated in the previous one that ended last week, so with that in mind, good luck!

You are forgetting that those types of contests will never happen again.

This Contest is based on Free TON Supporters Annual Contribution for their community .
Please have a look at this contest motivation.

Contest was ended even before proposed deadline.

Download Contest Description PDF File on gov.freeton.org and then also read Contest Forum Discussion.**

No way man, there was a contest, now it’s over)
