Decentralized Contest

Short description

Decentralized Contest (“DC”) will be the engine of the Korean community. The goal of Decentralized Contest Proposal (“DCP”) is to design a powerful community that builds itself autonomously. All DCs must adhere to the Governance Best Practice (“GBP”) guidelines.

Type

Decentralized contests

Contest entry period

The contest period of each DC will be defined in the respective DCP.

Motivation

Each DC must create new value for the Korean and global community at large in a constructive way by including but not limited to building critical mass of userbase, and creating use-cases as well as partnerships.

Contest specification

Each DCP will define the specifications of each DC, including but not limited to entry period, description, specification, evaluation criteria, voting procedures, participant and jury rewards, and comments on the procedure.

Evaluation criteria and winning conditions

Each DCP will define the performance criteria and the conditions of rewards.

Participant Rewards

Each DCP will define the amount of rewards for DC participants. It should be equal or similar to the amount approved for the similar contests in the global community.

Jury rewards

Each DCP will define the amount of jury rewards. Following the current practice, it is 5% of all distributed tokens divided by the number of juries who vote and leave meaningful feedback.

Procedural remarks

Each DCP will define procedural notes for the DC. Any member can propose contests on the official forum at https://www.tonkorea.org/forum (TBD).

Disclaimer

Anyone can participate, but Free TON does not distribute Tons to US citizens or entities.

What a great proposal from the Korean community! Pls blast it. Use cases with user base and engaging ton as a utility would be most valuable. Looking forward to those coming.
